THE BIG SPRING FORWARD

March winds giving way to April showers. It’s time … clocks forward.

So too are the final talk-settings being applied to the final torque-settings. A major up-grade to the Nichols N1A project story being prepared as we write. A major specialist motor manufacturer (with Le Mans Prototype, super high quality replica, race car & re-imagined super-specimen few-offs history) is preparing it’s menu to manufacture new Nichols N1A, each one built to your individual specification and detail. You’ll do this in conjunction with Steve to accentuate the use you wish to put it to; this of course, as he did for World Champions Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost and so many other top rank Grand Prix teams & racers. In close league with MD John Minett, production stream lining is evolving the full & final manufacturer specification. What takes time is the adoption of techniques which allows individual buyers to create their own N1a to follow their personal & diverse preferences.

That takes time. Also taking time is interest from the big boys, anxious to take the car into Europe & America. Huge prospects for this fledgling outfit but vital to take the project out to the people who want something extraordinary to drive. Think weird, freaky and super-cool quality-demanding creatives …

But here we are, Spring upon us, so we get months of hi-level sport motoring again …

Thursday April 18th the N1a is running at BRDC Members Track Day held on the full charismatic Silverstone Grand Prix circuit.
